Alexis Sanchez have asked for permission to departs from Chile camp.
Amid increasing intense transfer reports, Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez have asked the Chile national team for time to resolve his future.
The Daily Mirror is reporting that Manchester City have offered Raheem Sterling plus cash to try to persuade Arsenal to sell.
The Metro is now reporting that Sanchez has reportedly asked for permission to leave the Chile international squad for 24 hours.
The transfer speculation has grown over Alexis Sanchez through out the window despite Wenger insisting the player is not for Sale, it now seem that we are nearing the end of the drama with this latest development.
The player plus cash may be enough to persuade Arsenal to part with Alexis.
Chamberlain transfer to Chelsea is imminent, now only pending medical as the two clubs agreed fee reported to be in the region of £35 to £40 million pound.
Arsenal had offered Chamberlain £180k a week to extend his contract, however, if reports are true, Chelsea is offering him less weekly wages.
This is an indictment on Arsenal and Arsene that a player will rather move on to another club for less money rather than staying with Arsenal.
Chamberlain has not had the most glowing of career at Arsenal, so the intense battle between Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea is surprising.
The only explanation would be the 8 homegrown player requirement which every club has to meet.
The possible transfer of Alexis and imminent sale of Chamberlain is a further depletion of Arsenal that may still lose Mustafi to Inter Milan, after already selling Gabriel Paulista to Valencia.
