ARSENAL ON THE HUNT FOR THE NEXT WILLIAM GALLAS TO REPLACE PER MERTESACKER
Arsenal football club is keeping tabs on French/Bondy born teenager HAROLD MOUKOUDI of Le Havre.

Harold Moukoudi of Le Havre
Moukoudi, whose parents are from Congo, rose from the same Le Havre academy as Manchester United Paul Pogba and former West Ham playmaker Dimitri Payet to become a highly rated defender in the French Division two league.
Such is his prominent rise that not only Arsenal is interested, other clubs are scouting the player as well, Nice and Bordeaux in the French Ligue 1 and RB Leipzig in Germany are all interested in him.

Wenger is reported to be an admirer of Moukoudi
Arsenal Manager Arsene Wenger is reported to be a big admirer of the player and is looking to buy him as a replacement for the retiring official club captain Per Mertesacker who is taking up a coaching career with the Club Under-23 at the end of the season.
Moukoudi has been capped for French Under 16, 17 and 3 times for the Under 18.
With interest from top European clubs, it will be a challenge for Le Havre to stand in his way if a viable offer from clubs like Arsenal come in for him, the club may, however, want to get the best possible deal on him, which may include selling him and still keep hold of him for some months, a deal similar to that one done by Liverpool on Nabby Keita.
The youngster has made nine appearances for the French second-tier outfit this season.

Harold Moukoudi is tall and comfortable on the ball
Moukoudi’s height at 1.91m and strength may bring some more steal to Arsenal’s defence. Think about William Gallas.
