Galatasaray, the Turkish club Emmanuel Eboue played for between 2011 and 2014 after leaving Arsenal may be coming to his aid if the comment of the club manager Fatih Terim is anything to go by.
Eboue revealed recently that he is penniless and sleeping rough on friends’ floor following a bitter divorce case with his Ex-wife Aurelie in which the court apparently awarded her all of their assets.
Explaining his circumstances, Eboue revealed he contemplated suicide as a result of his financial situation that sees him hiding from bailiffs.
Eboue has seen supports from football and Sports world generally with people starting various fundraising appeals on gofundme to help him, however, help could be at hand after the Turkish giants said they would hand an academy coaching role to their former player.
Gala boss Fatish Terim, who has taken over at the Istanbul club for the fourth time in his career, told CNN Turk that he would give the former Ivory Coast full-back the role of under-14 assistant coach at the club.
Terim said: ‘We heard news about Eboue in the dressing room, I was informed there, we will do whatever we can to help my friend.
Eboue spoke in complimentary terms about the Galatasaray manager following the revelation that they will be offering him a job
He said: ‘I would be very happy if Fatih gave me the duty in Galatasaray.
‘Fatih Terim is my father, I love him very much, I do everything for him because I love him very much.
