Draxler, Alexis Sanchez & Hirving Lozano Are in the news today

January transfer market is almost here, the rumor mill is on the overdrive, here is a roundup of some transfer news concerning Arsenal

Julian Draxler:

The former Wolfsburg attacking midfielder and a long-term target of Arsenal is available in January for £40m. This is according to various reports, including Mirror and The Sun.

Draxler joined PSG last year but has failed to nail down a regular starting position in the squad that now include two record signings back to back in Neymar from Barcelona and the most expensive teenager Kylian Mbappe.

Draxler goal return at PSG is comparably low to what Alexis Sanchez is contributing to the Arsenal team right now.

If Sanchez is to be sold in mid-season, Arsenal needs to be bringing a player that would do similar or better job.

Arsenal Will Listen to £35m Offer for Alexis Sanchez:

As Alexis Sanchez contract comes to an end in the summer, the winter transfer window represents the last opportunity for Arsenal to cash in on Alexis Sanchez or he will walk for free in the summer.

Various reports are saying this morning that Arsenal is ready to listen to offer for Sanchez in excess of £35m.

Manchester City, the apparent favorite to sign him based on the player’s preference are waiting to get him for free in the summer, while PSG may be willing to pay in January.

Manchester City tactics of waiting for the summer transfer window before making a move may open up an opportunity for a swap deal involving Draxler and Sanchez.

Liverpool joins Arsenal and Everton in wanting Hirving Lozano:

PSV Mexican striker Hirving Lozano is becoming a top target for Premiership clubs.

Arsenal and Everton were reported to be ready to pay £42m for his services, however. the DailyStar is reporting that Liverpool has joined the queue.

A bidding war between these clubs will see the final price rise but he still represents a gamble at that price.
